Events Dark Fracture take place in the 1990s. The user will take on the role of a character named Edward, an ordinary man from the USA, whose life cannot be called happy. He is constantly in apathy, in addition, he is lonely, and the only way available to him to cope with negative emotions is medications that need to be taken regularly. Everything was exactly like this until something strange happened – Edward seemed to have gone crazy and now sees frightening and terrible things.

The player can explore dark, creepy locations filled with unpredictable objects: bodies are scattered somewhere, surfaces stained with blood, hands can crawl out of the walls, and so on. It will be possible to reveal the secrets of the mysterious “body farm” where the main character will find himself. Whether the hostile creatures in Dark Fracture are real, or just fantasy and imagination, does not matter, since in any case they can frighten and cause damage to the character’s sanity.

Sanity is an analogue of the health scale, and the frequency of appearance of hostile creatures also depends on its level. In addition, if it decreases too much, you will not be able to perform certain actions. The player can solve riddles using objects scattered around the map. You can find a torch or lighter that allows you to light the way, as well as maintain and increase your sanity. There is also a camera that acts as a flashlight – you can use the flash to illuminate the playing space for a short time.
