DARK SOULS 2 is a direct continuation of the first part. The story follows an unnamed character who, after becoming undead, wishes to regain his human form. To do this, he arrives in the kingdom of Drangleic, intending to take possession of the “great souls.” They belong to the local inhabitants, and they are clearly not going to part with them so easily. Therefore, the gamer will have to go through many tests in order to achieve his cherished goal. The game still features familiar features that have become classics from the previous part.

Chips and features of the project “Dark Souls 2”:

• High level of difficulty – it cannot be adjusted and will remain so until the very last moment. This means that some episodes will have to be replayed several times.
• Leveling system – by killing enemies, the hero receives souls. These, in turn, can be spent on purchasing better equipment, weapons or potions, increasing your effectiveness in battle.
• Save system – as before, this happens through bonfires located in locations. By interacting with them, the player fixes a new respawn point.

It's no coincidence that DARK SOULS II places an emphasis on complexity. It's not just about fighting or solving puzzles, but also about navigating the terrain. There are no radars or maps, so you need to remember your route. At the same time, some quests will encourage you to return to a place where there are no more enemies or valuable items left. The combat system involves the use of a stamina scale. The amount of energy spent on an attack depends on what weapon the warrior is holding. If it is an ax or a halberd, then after two swings it will have no strength left. Therefore, it is important to monitor the indicator in battle to prevent an absurd defeat.
