Dead Man's Rest – is a visual novel where the plot is focused on the relationship between two guys. Here you can choose the most suitable man for the protagonist and start a romantic love story with him, the outcome of which depends on the user's plot choices. But you can also try to stay on the neutral side, watching only the detective plot.

The action takes place in 1879 in a hot town right in the middle of Arizona. Lately there hasn't been even the slightest breeze that could ease the lives of people languishing in the heat. The main character is brought here by evidence from an eight-year-old case to take revenge on one person. Not finding anything useful, he decides to move on, but the sudden murder of a local mayor makes him linger a little.

Main characters of Dead Man's Rest:

• Jed is a local innkeeper, he knows everything about everyone, but he will share information very carefully, or for a certain fee, so you should be careful with him
• Taza is an Indian who carefully avoids meeting city dwellers, lives in a small village, has a rather gentle character and a kind heart
• Holis is a rather rich and stately man, who because of this has many ill-wishers among the local robbers, sometimes behaves somewhat suspiciously, perhaps has a secret
• John is one of the cowboys, always ready to help with the investigation and share interesting details seen or found, very interested in solving the case

The gamer can start a relationship with each of them and push the protagonist to take more serious steps towards them. All the guys have their own unique story and a difficult past behind them. But they will be ready to open up only to a reliable person who knows how to keep secrets and is ready to accept them as they are.
