Dead Way is a multiplayer game where one or more participants on the server fight bloodthirsty zombies and mutants. A vast and open game world is presented, filled with buildings, institutions, bunkers and bases. In different areas, the user can get new weapons and equipment, which will help in surviving the post-apocalyptic world. A squad of survivors needs to collect resources and ammunition to always be ready for battle.

Cooperative play has a number of advantages. Companions are able to revive a fallen comrade, but this will take some time. In difficult situations, it will be problematic to restore the vital functions of an ally. As you progress, the difficulty will increase, and the number of opponents and their strength will increase. The user is able to organize his own game and recruit acquaintances and friends, or join random players by searching for a match.

A session supports up to 8 participants simultaneously. Gameplay rules include friendly fire, which will make aiming difficult in narrow corridors or small rooms. Users will need to resist waves of zombies that are gradually increasing their strength. The mini-map does not have any markings, which is why gamers need to explore the environment with their own hands and find any useful buildings or good positions.
