IN Death and Taxes the user gets the opportunity to reincarnate into Death itself. Only it won’t be that same ominous silhouette in a hood, but an ordinary skeleton in a suit doing office work. So, the gamer will have to make responsible decisions and determine who will live and who will die. The important thing is that every decision made will have consequences, so such things will need to be approached with special responsibility.

Death and Taxes does not involve the use of any complex mechanics. All actions are carried out with the mouse using the Point and Click system. So, from the very beginning, the character is introduced to the situation and invited to inspect his workplace. Death works at his own desk, where new printouts of people's affairs appear every day. Each sheet contains brief information about the person (his name, age, occupation, photo and description). And at the bottom there are 2 frames with the designation – live or die. Based on the information that the player has, he needs to make a decision regarding whether he will live further or die on this day. After the end of the shift, the main character will have a conversation with his boss, where the option to select phrases in the dialogue appears. Depending on what the gamer does, the plot can take different turns, and the real world will change due to the decisions made. Therefore, you can act differently and observe the development of events.
