Democracy 3 is a game focused on democracy, diplomatic missions and the relationship between countries and government representatives. The user will play the role of chairman or president to choose from. At the start of the passage, an introduction to the gameplay takes place, where the rules and capabilities are explained. The player, having received a high position, will need to change statistics in 7 aspects, such as public services, economy, taxes, foreign policy, law and order, transport and social security.

Before starting, the gamer will choose the head of one of several countries. States have their own starting conditions and opportunities to influence 7 areas. Changing policies leads to happiness or negative consequences for other groups of voters. The user’s actions affect the country’s economy, the well-being of residents, the crime factor, air quality and other elements of life. The gameplay models the motivation, attachments and desires of every resident in the state.

The country is presented in a simplified manner, with clear icons to help explore the relationship between decisions and voter sentiment. The player is able to influence trade, and that on the size of GDP, which will follow changes in unemployment, poverty and crime. Each decision carries a sequential chain of events affecting several indicators that can improve or worsen. Citizens monitor the fulfillment of promises and have power of attorney for the chosen candidate, and it can fall or rise due to the election of the figure.
