IN Depths of Peril the player will play as a pretty girl and part-time leader of a faction whose task is to protect the barbarian city of Jorvik. To do this, you will need to negotiate with other rulers, lead an army and send it on campaigns, explore new lands and solve the problems of your people. The latter means that sometimes the user will have to play a strategy game, and sometimes he will have to go down into a dungeon filled with terrible creatures that can send the character to the next world in the blink of an eye. Moreover, every action of the hero will always have consequences, so you will need to carefully think through every move so as not to bring trouble to the inhabitants of your kingdom.

During the passage of the game Depths of Peril, a huge role is played by the cause-and-effect relationship according to the principle of the butterfly effect. So, if the player somehow angers the enemy faction, he can start a war at the most inopportune moment. At the same time, if you throw all your strength into helping your allies, you may lose sight of attacking your own lands, which is also clearly not the best idea. The rest of the gameplay consists of arranging your own kingdom, exploring the map of the huge game world and repelling enemy attacks. The main task is to prevent yourself from being captured by enemies and to conquer as many new cities and settlements as possible, while following the plot of the game.
