Dirt 4 opens the door to the garage and the opportunity for gamers to improve their vehicle. Featuring a solid career mode, literally endless racing with procedurally generated stages, and improved graphics and sound over previous installments, the gameplay delivers a new rally experience. One of the features is the Your Stage mode, which is a racing track generator. By moving a couple of sliders (difficulty and duration), and adjusting the time of day and weather conditions, the racer dives into stages up to 12 kilometers long.

In Your Stage you can visit 5 countries: Australia, USA, Great Britain (Wales), Sweden and Spain. Each has its own landscape, which means complexity and demands on the driver’s skill. The ability to generate a huge number of locations brings variety to the racing. There are two physics models in Mud 4: “simulation” and “player”. Rating tables and online tests are also divided accordingly. The simulation turns the game into a real battle with the steering wheel, taking into account the control features.

This, however, does not mean that the game is too difficult, because in the “player” mode the settings make the gameplay easier. In your career you need to work as a team and spend money on improvements. Resources determine how effective and helpful engineers and other staff will be. In addition, gamers can create a whole fleet of vehicles to participate in as many competitions as they want. The selection of cars is good: classic cars from the 80s and 90s of the 20th century especially stand out here, but the presentation of modern models is not so great.
