Disgaea 6 Complete invites the user to join Zed, who is trying to destroy the God of Destruction. The gameplay is presented as a role-playing adventure, where most of the time is spent on battles and dialogues with characters. The main character is Zed, a zombie who loves to brag, while being on the lowest rung of Hell. He lives here with his sister Bieka.

One day, the God of Destruction threatened Zed and his sister to say goodbye to life, which the protagonist did not like. Now he has to use his superpower and make his way through hundreds of opponents, trying to get to the divine being. The ward can quickly reincarnate even after the most powerful attacks. This skill allows him to make mistakes, but still continue on a dangerous path.

Zed is trying to change his humble status and challenge the god himself to raise his reputation and power in the Underworld. To do this, he will receive new equipment items and abilities that make him stronger. To return to the battle, the gamer will need to use super reincarnation. The user can choose his own style of passing, combining skills and actions in different ways. Many secondary units will become support and help destroy all opponents on the way.
