The studio later released a re-release. Now the title can be played without a virtual reality helmet. The project, as the name suggests, is based on the British TV series Doctor Who. In this video game, fans of the TV show will be able to see the tenth and thirteenth Doctors. They were voiced by Jodie Whittaker and David Tennant, who played the characters on television. The video game is replete with references for fans. The story has its own storyline, which in some places echoes some of the old series of the original. This time the protagonist visits the Universe of Chaos to save it from a new terrifying threat.

Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality has a short running time. The game can be completed in 2 or 3 hours. The campaign is divided into levels. Among them, fans can find familiar locations. In this project you need to wander around the area with and without a flashlight, solve puzzles, interact with the environment, and use a sonic screwdriver. Also here you have to fight with opponents or run away and hide from them. There are stealth episodes where you need to avoid the attention of enemies and distract them in order to sneak past your pursuers. Enemies include Cybermen, Daleks and Weeping Angels. Despite the presence of adversaries, the gameplay mainly consists of leisurely walking and solving puzzles.
