Dom Rusalok Transes players to Russia of the end of the last century. Events unfold in a nameless typical provincial town. Adults go to work, children play in the yard, and the USSR is about to fall apart. A calm provincial life is interrupted by the sudden loss of one of the children. Friends go in search, but they did not suspect what danger they had to encounter. The project was completed according to the standards of the works of Stephen King, however, events do not occur in an American suburbs, but the harsh Russian province of the 90s, where no one will come to the rescue. Allegedly, investigating the case, the children face a terrible place called the house of the mermaid, the secret of which they still have to find out.

The gameplay in the game is quite simple. Basically, the gamer has to explore the game world. An important part is the atmosphere that will cause a sense of nostalgia among some users. Gamer will be able to visit different locations: in the library, on the streets of a small city, in the room of a typical Soviet teenager. Posters hang everywhere, people are dressed according to the then fashion. In the course of research, children will be revealed more and more secrets. In parallel, relations will develop between them. In search of a friend, friends learn about the winging maniac, gangster groups and a terrible secret that the scientific center holds in itself, because the whole city is built around it.
