DownTheDead is a dynamic action game in which the player has to fight off huge crowds of zombies. But the number of cartridges is very limited, so sometimes avoiding a battle means winning it. Huge locations for exploration have their own characteristics, difficulties and types of opponents, which will force you to constantly reconsider your tactics.

The main character signed a contract to play the role of a test subject in one of the laboratories. He really needs money, so he is ready to do anything to provide for his family. The guy was put into a comatose state, but when he woke up, there was already devastation around and screams were heard. As it turned out, there was a leak of a dangerous virus that turns people into the walking dead. In addition, the aliens who were here for study also escaped from their cages after the security system failed. Now the protagonist has to get out at any cost and survive. The complex consists of several underground floors and, due to a non-functional elevator, you will have to move along various stairs, making your way through groups of zombies and other monsters.

In DownTheDead the user will have several types of weapons with which he is able to defend himself. They are located at control points, where you can also find important objects, keys and notes from scientists talking about what preceded the disaster. Getting through the corridors will be difficult not only because there are a lot of monsters around, but also because of the copious number of puzzles.
