The underlying premise DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE, gives players the opportunity to create and play as their own character. Additional settings allow you to change your equipment and clothing. Combat and action provide special attack options, of which there are plenty, allowing gamers to choose between long-range and short-range. Network capabilities have been expanded compared to the previous game in the series, and now there are both confrontation and cooperative modes.

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE offers you to play for heroes belonging to the following races:

• Majins have impressive defense, but slowly recover stamina. Bonus defense is activated when stamina is high;
• Saiyans are a tribe of warriors with insufficient health, but extremely powerful attack potential that can increase;
• Grounders are a balance of items for both defensive and offensive elements. Qi has the property of automatic recovery, and when the supply is maximum, the power of the blows will increase;
• Namekians have a weak attack, but excellent recovery characteristics;
• Unnamed Race of Frieza – they attack rather weakly, but they can boast of high speed. They can hit opponents with a chi blast. At a critical level of health, additional speed appears.

In addition to fights, the gameplay offers side missions. Completing them allows you not only to open stories, but also to unlock improvements and items. Completing parallel tasks is not necessary, but if you ignore them, the character may not gain the necessary strength.
