Dragonfire: Well of Souls takes gamers to the fantasy world of Antor. It is inhabited by elves, gnomes, humans, orcs and even humanoid ducks. One day, the Free Peoples united to stop the villain Vikotnik and his monsters. But they only managed to push the creatures back, but failed to completely kill the sorcerer himself. In order to somehow contain the forces of evil, the magicians imprisoned his soul in the Red Tower, which is located on the island of Erebos. Now various monsters are trying to break through there to free their dark master. And the hero is tasked with preventing this from happening. At the very beginning, they let you choose a protagonist. There are two warriors of the human race (male and female), a pirate duck and an orc.

In Russian translation, the game was called Fire Dragon. This is an isometric role-playing game. The gameplay is linear. The main emphasis is on battles. There is magic, as well as melee and ranged weapons. Equipment must be found or purchased. The quests here are only basic, and they are present in small quantities. Fights with monsters alternate with exploration of locations. Often here you have to look for secret places in order to advance further in the plot. Sometimes they give you notes to read and non-scripts to listen to. The pumping system here is atypical. The character does not gain experience for killing enemies or completing quests. It doesn't increase levels either. However, players can improve the characteristics of their charges by finding special potions. You can upgrade health, strength and agility.
