DREAMVIBE is a rhythm game in which the user controls a mystical blade. The main task is to hit flying targets with a sword, resembling glowing balls of smoke or ball lightning. With each successful hit, the program broadcasts a melody – thus, if the gamer destroys all objects, he will be able to play one or another soundtrack to the end. This encourages the development of attention and reaction, because the faster the gamer hits all the necessary objects, the better. The game has a built-in player containing songs of various genres – from metal to J-Pop and Vocaloids. But the program also provides the ability to broadcast songs from the gamer’s playlist. The blade is controlled using a computer mouse, without the need to use a keyboard.

DREAMVIBE has an increasing level of difficulty. The first stages are quite simple – the targets are few and move slowly so that gamers can get used to the gameplay. But the further the user advances, the more difficult the tasks will become. The gameplay is further complicated by the fact that all the locations are colorful, bright and filled with special effects. Therefore, an inattentive player risks simply missing the appearance of the target. To diversify the passage, the developers added the ability for gamers to create their own levels. To do this, the game uses the player's saved videos and soundtracks.
