Driver: San Francisco is a car simulator in which the user will play the role of a peace officer named John Tanner, who works in his car on the streets of San Francisco. The creators of the project introduced the “Shift” function, which was not present in previous parts of the game. It allows the main protagonist to transfer to another iron horse and calmly continue completing the task. For the first time in the history of the Driver series, the product contains as many as 140 licensed cars that can be completely wrecked.

Here are just some of the presented models: Pagani Zonda, DeLorean DMC-12, Dodge Challenger, Alfa Romeo, Dodge Viper, Ruf. The authors also removed the ability to leave the car from the game. User Driver: San Francisco has one of the longest routes for competitions – 335 km of asphalt roads of varying difficulty levels. There is also access to multiplayer derby through 9 different modes.

According to the storyline, the main character and Charles Jericho return to the USA after adventures in Istanbul and continue their confrontation further. A good guy patrols the streets of the metropolis, and Charlie is awaiting sentencing for past sins. He decides to escape, but the main protagonist prevents him from doing so and, having gone through dozens of dynamic tests provoked by the restless villain, the policeman finally emerges victorious from the deadly battle.
