The main character's starship Dereliction: 2022 makes an emergency landing on an unknown planet and receives critical damage, and the researcher himself loses consciousness due to large overloads during the fall. Having come to his senses, he climbs out of the capsule and looks around, but the view is completely filled with endless sands. Suddenly, the protagonist’s keen eye discovers a man-made structure in the distance, and he goes there.

The central character of Dereliction: 2022 reaches the building and goes inside to use the local beacon to communicate with the command. However, this outpost seems safe only at first glance. An insidious evil inhabits these corridors, but the victim understands this truth too late, when he entered deep into the premises of the base. Now he is trapped, but is ready to break through and fight against these creepy and nasty bugs.

The daredevil is armed with effective weapons for the creatures and additional equipment that helps prepare the enemy a warm welcome. A single company consists of well-developed levels with random generation, so it will not be possible to adapt to the location. It is worth noting that in case of death, progress is reset and everything will have to start over. As you gain experience, weapons are upgraded and receive improved performance. The opposing side learns regularly and does not repeat previous mistakes, improving its behavior.
