Dune 2000: Long Live the Fighters! – continuation of the series in the strategy genre. This project is presented in the form of a re-release of the original Dune 2, which has a modified game engine and added various gameplay elements, plot and additional features. Before starting the passage, the player will have to choose 1 of 3 houses, like the Ordos, Harkonnens and Atreidis, which are in conflict with each other.

Battles take place on the planet Arrakis, and as you progress through the story campaign, video cutscenes with actors and voiced dialogue often appear. A fantastic story is combined with genre elements of real-time strategy. In the passage of Dune 2000, the user controls 1 of 3 factions with their own buildings, soldiers and methods of fighting. Collisions take place on Arrakis or Dune, which differ visually and territorially.

Most of the map is covered in fog of war at the start of the match. To remove it, you will need to explore the environment with soldiers. The darkness gradually disappears, and deposits and resource zones reveal their location. Each House has its own units. However, each side has the same soldiers and military vehicles. The Atreidis use sonic tanks, the Ordos use the Deviator, and the Harkonnens use the Devastator. If the gamer captures the enemy’s production structure, he will gain access to the creation of their special units.
