It is also possible to carry out area attacks and ultra-combos. In addition to participating in fights at locations, you must complete main and secondary tasks. You can walk levels or ride on mounts.

The plot is based on the historical novel “The Three Kingdoms”. It tells about the war of three states on the territory of ancient China. The narrative is presented through cutscenes and briefings. In DYNASTY WARRIORS 8: Xtreme Legends you can join one of 5 factions. More than 80 characters available. Each of them is compatible with one weapon or another. The hero is also allowed to be given inappropriate weapons. But then he will lose his attack bonus. Blades, axes, pikes, halberds can deal additional damage with fire or electricity, or have other similar characteristics. The warrior himself can be improved. They also allow you to upgrade his bodyguards. In the eighth part, a camp appeared where you can change equipment, chat with subordinates, take on quests, and build buildings.

The project has several modes:

• Story Mode – 6 campaigns are available here, and there are forks in the storylines;

• Free Mode – this fun allows you to go through any chapter of the campaign with custom settings;
