EERIE is a first-person shooter with an open and expansive world. The player finds himself in a modern and magical dimension, where he will take control of three armed girls who consider themselves spiritual figures. The setting is presented in the form of eastern and western mythology, offering battles with unusual creatures and the search for legendary items. The main characters find themselves in a deadly war zone, where they need to use a variety of small arms.

The plot includes three central characters and as many original stories. The user will learn more about the life and events of Ringo, Daiyosei and Kijin Seija. Each girl has special skills and attributes with a different fighting style. Also, each hero has his own mission goals, relationships with factions and plot elements. In the story, these three characters are enemies with each other and will face off in fierce battles more than once.

The gamer can take advantage of an extensive arsenal, including pistols, SMGs, assault rifles of various calibers, machine guns, snipers, shotguns and explosive objects. Each type of weapon is suitable for current tasks and opponents. The user is able to customize his own firearm by changing ammunition or using additional gadgets. There is also tactical equipment to help complete missions.
