El Shaddai ASCENSION OF THE METATRON is a third-person action-adventure game with epic battles and unusual environmental aesthetics. The gameplay combines 2D platforming with a 3D world and journey through exceptional environments. The world constantly changes and is enriched with innovative and creative elements as the player explores locations and progresses through the story.

During the gameplay, the player will have to use 4 action buttons, such as jump, attack, defend and steal weapons. However, to overcome many difficulties and opponents, you can come up with original strategies and combinations of standard actions of the central character. The gamer takes control of Enoch. The main character wears holy armor, which loses parts as it receives damage from opponents. Hearts restore lost health.

Opponents and the protagonist use three types of weapons, like Vale, Gale and Arch. Each item has unique abilities, strengths and weaknesses in combat. Storm is a ranged weapon that gives you the skill for quick dashes. Veil – makes slow but powerful blows to enemies. The user can steal weapons from opponents during battle and use them. Using equipment, it gradually becomes dull and loses its properties.
