When creating a setting for the project, the authors were inspired by the work of the poets of Kits, Byron and Shelley. In addition, after passing the main stage, the gamer has the opportunity to create its own masterpiece using intra -game technologies.

In fact, the passage of Elegy for a Dead World consists in performing various tests. In total, all these 27 tests relate to the study of locations in order to write fragments of history. For example, one of them proposes to engage in archaeological research in order to describe in detail the last days of the existence of one of the worlds. In another, as a thief, the character examines the wreckage of the crash in order to find values. At the same time, the system does not place any requirements or conditions for the speedy quests. Gamer is free to do everything at the pace at which he wants. The main emphasis here is on the visual component, showing worlds in different color colors and proportions, using contrasts and bright colors. All works created by the main character are preserved in one of the sections of the main menu, where they can be found at any time.
