IN Elite Warriors: Vietnam the player will become the head of a small group of SOG – a legendary organization, people from which became members of the Delta squad. All events take place during the American-Vietnamese War. First, you need to recruit fighters, select a point on the map, and plot a route to move around the location. Then you have to land and slowly continue moving, making forced marches to get to a certain point before time runs out. After this, you will need to carry out missions, the purpose of which could be the destruction of construction equipment, sabotage of artillery positions, rescuing hostages, determining the exact coordinates for an air attack, destroying a radio point, etc.

As you progress through Elite Warriors: Vietnam, you can fall into ambushes, eliminate attackers, and also use several weapon options. Initially, the hero receives an M16 for combat, but it can be exchanged for a captured AK-47; a CAR-15 (short version of the M16) and two XM-21 sniper rifles (with regular and night sights) are also available, along with a pump-action shotgun and rifle M1, M60 and M79 grenade launcher. All this, together with explosives and binoculars, constitutes the soldier’s main weapon. The game itself involves a linear passage in the style of a well-thought-out corridor, so it is impossible to get lost, since only one line is available for movement – a straight line.
