Events Endless Legend take place on the planet Auriga. Eight colorful factions with their own history, development and characteristics will collide with each other in the battle for power in these territories. At the very beginning, the gamer chooses not just the people who will lead to the pinnacle of glory, not a set of characters with a number of advantages and disadvantages, but one of the possible scenarios. Each story consists of a series of unique quests. To win, you need to build the core of the Earth Temple before your opponents do. Victory in the campaign can come to the player in other ways. For example, if you destroy all opposing factions and colonize the lands, or conduct diplomatic negotiations, unite peoples and become their leader. It all depends on the decisions of the gamer. In addition, the races have their own story quest, for completing which the gamer will receive useful bonuses.

The main currency of the Endless Legend is Ashes. The world is divided into provinces, which have one large city and several smaller ones. The player can completely control all the resources on the territory and use them as he wants. The two seasons of summer and winter have a significant impact on the gameplay. During cold weather, the army weakens, rivers become covered with ice, and resources are extracted much more slowly. Over time, the gamer will learn to predict the arrival of winter in advance and prepare for harsh conditions. To conclude pacts, trade and negotiations with other camps spend influence points. Without them, you cannot enter enemy territory. The combat system is divided into preparatory, ordered and active. First you need to arrange a squad of infantry, shooters, magicians and other mercenaries, and then select targets for attack. Characters can also lead an army and receive experience and new artifacts for this.
