Evergrace is an action role-playing game in which users find themselves in the mysterious setting of Edinbury, a continent that was once ruled by the formidable Riubane Empire. The story revolves around two main characters – Darius and Charlene, each of whom goes through their own storylines and has unique fighting techniques. A distinctive feature of the game is the ability for users to seamlessly switch between characters at certain save points, which increases the depth of gameplay. The plot of Evergrace is set against the backdrop of the former glory of the Riebana Empire and is intricately woven around the machinations of Morpheus, a powerful magician obsessed with a passion for the mysterious Crest – a peculiar sign adorning the hand, which is widely believed to be a curse.

In his tireless quest to understand what the Crest is, Morpheus creates the “Weapon of Palmyra” – a set of weapons and armor intricately associated with the cursed sign. In addition, he gives life to the AI-Cross – an artificial intelligence that controls mechanical henchmen. Both Darius and Charlene find themselves burdened with the Crest, becoming its unwitting bearers. Darius, a skilled swordsman, manages to escape the clutches of the empire after being subjected to Morpheus' experiments. On the other hand, Charlene, a simple housewife, while visiting a forest village, becomes a victim of kidnappers. Their paths converge and they embark on a dangerous journey, uncovering the secrets hidden behind the Cross and the ominous fate that hangs over the setting.
