IN Evoland Legendary Edition A boy named Kuro is trying to prevent the apocalypse. At the beginning of the story, he loses his memory and wakes up in an unknown room. He is saved by a girl named Fina, she is the second most important protagonist. Together they fight against the demon Rhino, whose goal is to kill all people on the planet. To prevent this, the characters find a Magilith relic and use it to travel back in time. To fight monsters, the hero uses a sword, which he gets from the first chest, as well as magic techniques and other items. Evoland shows users the evolution of computer gaming.

What are the eras?

• GameBoy – a pixel hero appears in a monochrome location, he is surrounded by trees and chests with useful items, weapons and monsters, only the d-pad is available for control, as in real old consoles, he can only walk right, left, up and down ;
• Sega – the locations are still pixelated, but the picture is already multi-colored, it becomes possible to move diagonally, Kuro comes to the first city and meets other heroes, there are turn-based battles;
• PS one or Nintendo 64 – three-dimensional graphics appear, as in the Japanese console released in 1996, the plot is complemented by an HP scale, dungeons, new opponents and puzzles;
• PlayStation 2 – the final era, inventory and loot appear, graphics become realistic.
