Evolution RTS is a 3D real-time strategy game set in a sci-fi setting. This is a small indie project made by one person using the Spring Engine. It allows you to arrange fights involving hundreds and thousands of units. The lack of a full-fledged plot and campaign is compensated by a wide variety of maps. There are more than 40 locations with realistic landscapes. The type of terrain affects gameplay. For example, in holes and behind covers you can hide from enemy bullets. Thanks to sophisticated physics, the flights of all projectiles are calculated. You can even dodge them. The game boasts a well-developed artificial intelligence of fighters. The troops independently select the most dangerous combat units at the moment as targets for attack.

In Evolution RTS you need to extract 2 resources: energy and metal. They are necessary for the construction of buildings, the creation of shields and equipment, the production of ammunition and nuclear missiles. An indie title has a low barrier to entry, so its economic model is simple. Not much attention has been paid to the development of the database. The main emphasis is on battles. It is possible to customize and automate production so you can fully concentrate on battles. You can give orders to your troops directly on the mini-map. They also allow you to place markers on the map. In addition to single battles with bots, the title has online multiplayer.
