Exodus from the Earth tells about the near future, when the days of humanity are numbered due to an impending disaster. With Earth's survival in doubt, another habitable planet is desperately needed. The military and big business collide as representatives of both spheres see the impending apocalypse as a means to seize control. Gamers will have to transform into a tough guy named Frank Rickson. He is an intelligence agency operative whose mission is to infiltrate the giant AX Corporation and find out what the slimy chief officer, Jack Cresby, is doing.

In Exodus from the Earth, the protagonist has a pistol, shotgun, railgun, grenades, and dead enemies drop health kits and ammo and leave important access cards lying haphazardly on storage shelves. Boss battles reflect the progression of the larger game; the first of them is a multi-stage battle, the subsequent ones are more complex confrontations that require cunning and quick reflexes. By the end of the gameplay, gamers will use their wits and weapons in equal measure to make their way to the extremely difficult final phase.

The difficulty will gradually increase, and while the first levels give you a feel for the weapons and enemy AI, then the environment becomes more dangerous. However, the difficulty can be adjusted independently: this mainly includes the number of available first aid kits and ammunition. Unrealistically interactive environments can be a headache for gamers. Sometimes barrels and crates can be destroyed, and objects can be picked up and moved. But first and foremost, this is a linear first-person shooter where, in addition to the chaotic, weapon-centric sections, gamers will be faced with a large number of situational puzzles that may require real thinking to solve.
