Fallout 2: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game, like the original game, combines real-time movement with tactical turn-based combat. Players take on the role of the Chosen One 80 years after the events that occurred in the first part. His people have built a modest settlement in an isolated corner of the futuristic Californian wasteland, but they realize that their attempts to survive are doomed to failure unless they find a “Garden of Eden Builder Kit” to revitalize their village. While the main quest is to obtain the GECK, during the quest the hero will encounter a variety of allies and enemies with whom he will have to interact – from opportunistic gangsters and elitists willing to exploit the less fortunate, to war survivors and super mutants.

Fallout 2: A Post Nuclear Role Playing Game has character creation and development systems. The hero has 10 core skills, up to 2 additional traits that provide benefits, and a large number of enhancement perks available as quests are completed and experience levels are gained. In addition, a number of new modern and futuristic weapons are available here. Combat can be challenging at times, as even a seasoned, well-equipped fighter can be brought down with a single critical hit from a powerful weapon.

The main character can be accompanied by several non-player characters controlled by AI. They can now wear armor and gain the same skills as the player, making them more useful throughout the game. Using the new “exchange” interface option, you can trade here and also force NPS to leave if necessary. The interface has also been updated, allowing you to customize the actions of your comrades in battle.
