Fate/EXTELLA takes users to the virtual kingdom SE.RA.PH, where new rulers appeared after the end of the war. But this only led to negative consequences, because the situation in the district became more unstable. The system on which this world has been based to this day has begun to generate an endless number of characters who seek to harm others in every possible way. To counteract this, Nero Claudius creates a special detachment of servants, whose task is to establish control over all territories. This must be done as quickly as possible before the kingdom is destroyed.

The gameplay in Fate/EXTELLA is based on combat mechanics. Each time, the character will end up in a certain territory called a sector. The task is simple – to clear the sector from opponents, moving through all its parts. They are displayed on the mini-map on the right side of the screen, so the gamer always knows his location. In addition to standard enemies, there are also their commanders, called Aggressors. Their value is much higher than that of regular units, and successful elimination can give you access to new skills. Before the start of the next stage, the player can choose a servant under his control, which creates variety in the passage, mainly due to differences in skills. And if the pace of leveling seems too slow, you can devote time to secondary quests, which are sometimes intertwined with the main story. Well, the real test will be battles with bosses, who, thanks to their size and powerful attacks, can literally sweep away the warriors under their control. Therefore, special care should be taken here.
