Fighting Force is a beat 'em up game with four central characters, each with their own unique playstyle. They have a common desire – to get to a doctor named Zeng. The enemy uses an army of thugs to hold off their opponents and continue to carry out horrific deeds, trying to gain more power and wealth over different parts of the big city.

A cooperative mode is available, where participants take control of different characters. There are 4 fighters in total: Alana McKendrick, Hawk Manson, Mays Daniels and Ben Jackson. Heroes use different combinations and special abilities, and also have different special attacks. The event takes place in a futuristic city filled with Zeng's henchmen.

Gradually, the enemies become stronger and begin to use more powerful weapons. In single player mode, the player can change controls between characters, testing their abilities and style of play. The gameplay begins in the police station, next to the Zeng skyscraper. Opponents use small arms, traps and bladed objects, dividing into classes. Those who attack from afar have less health, but are better at positioning and can deal damage from a long distance. The user will visit a shopping center, subway, coast guard base and other locations.
