FINAL FANTASY 13 transports players to a fairy-tale world. The territory where the events take place is divided into two – the vast territories of the Pulse and the Cocoon hanging over it. Relations between the worlds have always been tense, but at one point the Pulse attack escalated into a large-scale war that claimed many lives. After the end of the war, the Cocoon government changed its policy and began expelling local residents for the slightest infraction. At the center of the events is a former soldier nicknamed Lightning. The problem is that the protagonist’s sister is under threat of expulsion, so she rushes into battle. In a dangerous adventure, the girl will be helped by her faithful friends: rebel leader Snow Villiers, pilot Sazh Katzroy, a young girl Hope Estame and many others. The project is the next in the series and continues the story of the previous parts.

The gameplay takes place from a third person perspective, which allows you to fully see the picture of what is happening. If possible, you can bypass a cluster of opponents and avoid a fight. If the hero is noticed, then Lightning goes into combat mode. You can attack enemies using weapons, magic or a special item. You can recruit several members into a combat squad and distribute roles between them depending on the skills and characteristics of the character. The player can switch between group members, but only one hero can be controlled; the rest will be controlled by artificial intelligence. The improvement system here is called Cristarius and is a development tree. Each link in the chain can be studied using earned experience points.
