Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a hack and slash adventure. This part is a spin-off to the original part. The action takes place in the same universe as the previous part, and most of the characters are transferred from the original game. Still, heroes are presented who have not appeared anywhere before, they have their own role in the journey, backstory, character and abilities.

The player will have to explore the vast continent of Fódlan, facing numerous dangers. At the center of the story is the hired killer Shez. Previously, he fulfilled orders and enjoyed time with his team. However, his companions were killed by Byleth. Because of this, the main character joins the soldiers of the Garreg Max Academy. In this military training institute, he can learn all the required skills to take revenge on his opponent.

As training progresses, the central character chooses 1 of 3 classes, changing his own abilities and focusing on a different fighting style. The gameplay combines elements of RPG and dynamic action. In battles, you can use combinations and deadly abilities to attack your opponents. A powerful new adversary appears in the franchise – Arvala, a mysterious entity in a white robe that opposes Sothis.
