Firefighter 259 consists of 12 levels. Each of them proposes its own task. The player has to save people and cultural heritage. He will do it in the role of a rescuer. In some places, the disasters will become parks, residential buildings, offices and other public facilities.

This is an adventure action with a third -person view. The main opponent will be a flame of different sizes. Fire will ruin the buildings and threaten the lives of local residents, blocking them the path to retreat. A team of professionals with a protagonist at the head will prevent terrible consequences fighting the elements.

The assistant is provided in the strength of the fire. The voice of a more experienced fireman will broadcast by the radio by distributing orders and leading the actions of the hero. Also on locations there will always be faithful associates. They are controlled by artificial intelligence and are always ready to help. Graphics is not the strongest place in the game. There are few special effects, they are blocked. The heroes look primitive, and the territory is monotonous. There is not enough detail.

Wandering around the rooms, the gamer needs to carefully study the situation, look for objects that may come in handy in the future or save the hostages of the situation. As you pass, new abilities will open. In addition to fire extinguishers and guns with a powerful stream of water, other methods of extinguishing using improvised means will appear. At the same time, the time at each stage is limited, so you will have to act quickly. If the hero remains in the building with a raging flame, and the timer will already make a signal, then the level will be lost and everything will have to be started again. When restarting, all objects will remain in the same places.
