IN Five Nights at Freddy's the main character plays as a night guard. He works at a pizzeria, a fun place where parents bring their children during the day. In this establishment you can not only have a hearty meal, but also look at the funny Freddy Bear. He is an animatronic robot. During the day he pleases the children, but at night he begins to hunt for the guard. Freddy has friends – Bonnie the rabbit, Foxy the fox and Chica the chicken.

A security guard's shift lasts 6 hours. He sits in his room and sees images from video cameras on the screen. With their help you can monitor the movements of animatronics. To protect themselves from them, the guard closes the door. Each robot from Five Nights at Freddy's has its own route of movement. They walk while the user playing as a guard is not looking at the screen. As for video cameras, they give an unclear image. And one of them doesn't work at all.

The user cannot leave his office. If he uses a tablet with images from cameras or flashlights to detect robots, this will lead to a power outage. After this, Freddy enters the room and, if the guard could not survive until the end of his shift, kills him. The game has 5 levels, each of which is called Night. The difficulty of completing the game increases with each level. After level 5, the gamer gains access to the difficult 6th level. Completing it gives you the opportunity to play at level 7.
