For The Warp is a roguelike with a deck of cards that allows the player to fight and explore the environment. The action takes place in space, where opponents live in the form of alien races, mercenaries and pirates. Gradually, the deck is replenished with new abilities and units. The main task in passing is to get to the Warp Gate and go through it, and also avoid hundreds of enemies and bosses.

New cards will increase your chances of survival and bring you closer to success. Star systems, enemies, item drops, and other gameplay features are procedurally generated with each new playthrough. On the way, the player will encounter allies and powerful opponents, visit the ruins of an ancient civilization and get to his own spaceships and futuristic technologies.

The journey begins with the central character gathering a squad of motley fighters who will have to go through a deadly trade route. The nearest warp gate has been destroyed by a hostile army, forcing the team to take the longest possible route to transport valuable cargo. If they complete the task, they will earn huge profits. Movement occurs through space using starships. On the way there are obstacles in the form of meteors and asteroids, as well as locations where there may be enemies or valuable loot. The user can apply bonuses, such as a temporary shield, a plasma cannon shot or a missile salvo.
