Fortress Forever It is not a full -fledged game. This is an addition from the creators of Half Life on the Source engine. With its help, you can recreate characters resembling classes from the original Team Fortress with a characteristic weapons and manner of fighting. At the same time, in addition to units, users have access to the modes provided for in the project. The capture of the flag, interception of intelligence, retention of the territory, destruction of objects, etc.

Depending on which mode of Fortress Forever was selected, the system will provide different options for the cards on which the battles will be held. For example, if we are talking about the capture of control points, then these will be extensive locations with superstructures, tunnels and secret passages. With their help, you can suddenly go into the back for the enemy, destroying a whole detachment. As mentioned earlier, each class differs in type of weapons. So, for example, the demolitioner is equipped with a grenade launcher whose shells can fly away from surfaces with a ricochet, and an engineer is able to build a turret with a missile installation in a matter of seconds, which is also equipped with a self -hanization system. Moreover, as in the original project, some classes are able to use weapons to move. For example, a soldier, shooting for himself, makes the so -called “Rocket Jump”, flying up a few meters at a cost of several health points. As for the special effects, there is nothing remarkable in them. There is no destruction of surrounding objects, so you can be content with only a beautiful death of the opposite side.
