Four-leaf tells an incredibly moving and deeply dramatic story about young people who find themselves captive to their situation. The main characters of the storyline are teenage girls whose parents are very rich and influential people. Often, the lives of such families are planned out second by second and parents devote most of their time exclusively to work and only a couple of days a year, if they’re lucky, to family. As a rule, children in such families are left to their own devices and often suffer from a feeling of uselessness.

The heroines, who study together at an elite educational institution, hate the world around them – it seems hostile and alien to them, because the people around them don’t care about anything except money and careers. In order not to live in this ugly universe, they create their own for themselves, in which they can be anyone and thus avoid pressing problems. Four-leaf gives the protagonists freedom of action in their own dreams, and therefore the ending of the story depends only on the decisions made.

A significant part of the gameplay is devoted to dialogues. Everything happens against the backdrop of colorful non-animated pictures drawn in anime style. According to the traditions of the genre, the player can communicate with many characters and start relationships with almost all of them – they can be friendly or romantic. The development of the storyline depends solely on previously made decisions, and therefore the novel can be safely completed several times to open all the endings.
