Space battle action Frontiers Reach transport the user to an alternative future for humanity, when people, with the help of new technologies, overcame the limitations on the speed of movement in a vacuum and invented perpetual motion machines that can operate without a large amount of fuel. Settlers from Earth scattered around the surrounding star system and colonized habitable worlds, but were unable to maintain unity. Ultimately, civilization broke up into 2 opposing camps with differing views and principles of building society – the Republic and the Earth Confederation.

At the center of the Frontiers Reach narrative is a skilled pilot in command of an evacuation flight where civilians are hiding on a remote planet. The war between states has begun and promises problems for decades, but the main character has no goals of supporting his enemies. Therefore, in a single-player campaign, consisting of 25 independent prescribed tasks, the protagonist fights and destroys ships of all factions in order to pass through the battle zone and get to safe sectors. Attention and concentration will not interfere during the trip, because not only military, but also civilian aircraft with payloads and provisions for cities move along the routes. Gradually, the actor modernizes the cruiser and adds updated equipment and tricks for the adversaries.
