Old school shooter Geometry Wars: Retro Evolved absorbed new generation graphics and deep modern gameplay. At the very beginning, a ship in the form of a pictogram circles the location, and other creatures in the form of circles and squares move around it. Their main task is to destroy your space ship. Opponents are divided into dozens of categories and all are dangerous for the main character. Some of them prefer to attack from behind, others disintegrate into small copies after a crash, others suck in everything around them, and so on. During the course of completing tasks, the character learns about the characteristics of other enemies around him. Everything is accompanied by excellent music and rich game sounds.

A controllable spaceship in Geometry Wars has excellent defensive qualities and is able to move deftly. The big advantage is the ability to continuously fire at creatures, so there is no need to look closely at individual targets. You just need to choose the right direction. If the main character is captured and surrounded, he can use powerful weapons such as energy bombs, which clear the entire territory in a matter of seconds. Each killed enemy means adding points, the accumulation of which can be used to upgrade your guns, get additional lives, new bombs and other additions that help you destroy your opponents.
