Gibbon: Beyond the Trees is a story about the jungle where gibbons live. They try to survive among unfriendly fauna, fleeing from predators and constantly searching for a safe place. The story campaign consists of several levels, during which you need to explore local locations, help the monkey brothers and not fall into the clutches of the enemy. Gibbons cannot fight, but they are fast and agile, allowing them to quickly jump from tree to tree or use vines to fly. Also, in addition to dense forests, animals can end up in the city, where they will need to move among densely populated areas.

The gameplay in Gibbon: Beyond the Trees features a variety of physics-based mechanics. This could be a swing that will allow you to make a long jump or the ability to fly off peculiar trampolines that will lift the character high into the air. Also, there is interaction with other monkeys that will help you rise higher or support you if the hero suddenly falls and flies down. In addition, additional opportunities open up, for example, you can do somersaults and use tricks from the world of parkour that monkeys have mastered.

The game raises the topic of environmental problems associated with deforestation. This is one of the reasons why the gibbons took off and are now in search of a new home. They will need to travel great distances to get to a place that can protect them.
