In the action Godkiller the user will play the role of a Soviet soldier of World War II. The game world is presented in the form of a post-apocalyptic environment. The environment is destroyed due to an evil and corrupt divine being. The perspective is presented with a side view, and the playing areas are three-dimensional. The main character, fighting monsters, moves left and right.

The central character awakens after a powerful burst of energy between the corpses of his comrades and realizes that all the soldiers were killed by a mysterious and powerful force. Millions of warriors were destroyed because of the wicked God. All Russian cities were destroyed, and only a Soviet soldier remained alive. He will have to single-handedly confront the enormous power of the dark deity and destroy his minions. Wacky powers help destroy monsters and mutated creatures, making your way to God.

The gamer can use non-standard weapons, such as a chainsaw-sword, fire cannons, or the hero’s superpowers in close combat. The devastated world is filled only with deadly hostile creatures and the remnants of human civilization. At each level, the user will have to fight his way through dozens of opponents and find new weapons. There is no HUD interface in the game, and the health bar is displayed above the character's head, as well as his abilities and energy.
