Golfie – a project in which the developers tried to combine the mechanics and features of such genres as a sports simulator and a card roguelike. The protagonist is an athlete and golfer trying to throw a robotic ball into a hole. However, here the matter is not limited only to calculation and force of impact. The main character has at his disposal a deck of magic cards that give each throw certain effects. For example, if there is a high wall ahead that is very difficult to overcome in the standard way, you can use the right map. Then the ball will easily fly to a gigantic height. Among other things, it also features additional matches and endless game modes. They are suitable for those who are bored with the main campaign.

But the project still has limitations:

• The energy that the user spends on using magic cards is not infinite. It is indicated by a scale, and the more often a gamer uses magical effects, the more this scale becomes empty. When the supply comes to an end, the passage will end.
• Each level in Golf Mood is procedurally generated and has a complex structure. The first maps are relatively easy, but the further the main character advances, the more difficult the obstacles will become. This encourages gamers to carefully think through their strategy to make it easier to win.
