Grand Theft Auto: The Original Trilogy – is a combination of remasters of several cult games from the GTA series. The collection includes the third part, as well as Vice City and San Andreas. The action of all three parts takes place in the same universe and they meet common characters, but the plots of the games are original and take place at different times. In addition, the projects are united by a common genre and gameplay features – it was in them that the mechanics for which the franchise is famous appeared. Grand Theft Auto: The Original Trilogy has three heroes:

• Claude is the protagonist of the third part. He is a silent and ruthless criminal who was once framed by his lover and business partner. Having miraculously escaped ten years in prison, he returns to the city to take revenge on the traitors and build his own criminal empire.
• Tommy Vercetti is a thug who originally worked for the Forelli family. After serving 15 years for multiple murders, the boss sent Tommy to oversee a drug deal. The routine deal was ruined by unknown gunmen who killed Forelli's associates and stole the drugs. The Don ordered Vercetti to get the drug back at any cost, unaware that his former underling would build an even more powerful crime family in the city.
• CJ – aka Carl Johnson. A young African-American who grew up in the ghetto and became a member of a black gang known as the Grove Street Family. After the death of his younger brother, Carl left his hometown and worked for a foreign mafia clan for several years. But the news of the death of the material forced CJ to return to Los Santos, where his former gang fell into disgrace. With nothing else to do, Johnson decides to help the Family regain its former influence.
