Grim wanderings 2 – a mixture of a classic board game and a full-fledged strategy in 4X mode. The role-playing system allows you to upgrade your characters and change the equipment of individual units to strengthen and select your own style of play. The combat is presented in a turn-based tactical form. The user is able to control each soldier and equipment in a variety of ways, interacting with the environment and giving various orders.

The second game continues the events of the first, and also includes dozens of innovations and improvements, comparing it with its ancestor. There are many races represented in the world, such as elves, humans, orcs, ratmen and lizardmen. Each faction has its own units, structures and technologies to study. There are 25 classes for each character and 37 professions for neutral creatures that determine their abilities.
