Grand Theft Auto III is the third part of the franchise, taking the player to the fictional city of Liberty City, reminiscent of New York. The plot follows an unnamed protagonist who seeks revenge against Miguel, a member of a drug cartel from Colombia. His ex-girlfriend Catalina also framed him and left him for dead, but he managed to stay alive and began a mission to exact revenge. To do this, the main character will have to join the criminal world, participate in shootouts, chases and achieve the desired goal.

The idea of ​​the previous parts of GTA remained the same, offering to complete illegal and criminal missions issued in different parts of the city. The central character receives most of the quests from bosses and other people. There are also secondary tasks where you can participate in races and earn money. Completing the task opens up more gameplay features and opportunities. Gradually, the user will unlock more weapons, upgrade the abilities of the ward and receive money.

There are many vehicles present in GTA 3, such as planes, boats and cars. Each type of machine has its own characteristics, appearance, handling and strength. Without completing a mission, the user can freely move around the world and explore its corners. If the hero commits illegal actions, such as killing residents or stealing cars, then the city police go to the crime scene. Wanted stars indicate the number of law enforcement forces sent to neutralize the criminal. With the star scale filled to the maximum, the player will encounter military personnel, helicopters and armored vehicles.
