Hadean Tactics tells the story of a sorcerer who practices black magic. You will need to go underground, straight to Hell, to fight in turn-based battles. You need to upgrade your abilities using a deck of cards. It is possible to change the style of play by choosing different paths. You will be able to visit different areas, fighting with diverse opponents who are in the dungeon. You will need to think through attack and defense tactics. It is these elements that cards are divided into. All events are generated randomly. It is worth being smart and correctly prioritizing during battles.

The Warlock must defeat 6 ferocious hellish creatures. The demons are in the center of the dungeon. In Hadean Tactics you can think through every further action. The game has no time limit. There will be various attacks and magic spells that will help resist demonic forces. Each of them has their own minions. These can be weak units and, on the contrary, powerful monsters that are not so easy to kill. You can create a series of combinations of cards so as not to give ill-wishers any chance of winning. You can gradually upgrade the characters' skills, which provides greater opportunities. The playing field is represented by a square arena, which is divided into cells. The site is divided into zones of allies and rivals.

At the beginning of the path, 11 cards will be given, which can be repeated:

• Armor Break – in 4 seconds you can deal 125 damage.
• Might – adds 50 units of strength to power.
• Shield is a spell that strengthens armor.
• Dagger Throw – deals 75 damage.
