Heath: The Unchosen Path takes the user to the fantasy kingdom of Zlatogorye, where terrifying monsters and majestic kings live. The gameplay is presented as an RPG adventure with classic elements of the genre. During the gameplay, you will have to fight dangerous enemies, upgrade your ward, complete main and secondary quests, learn new abilities and change equipment found in chests or after boss battles.

The player takes control of Yaropolk, and the journey begins near the village of Berezan. The central character communicates with a wise sorcerer, and the latter gives him advice and sends him on a deadly journey. After this scene, the gamer begins to control Yaropolk. Before passing, you will need to choose 1 of 3 character classes: warrior, magician and archer. The first village contains 3 mentors who teach key gameplay mechanics.

The hero's class affects his weapons, upgradeable abilities, appearance and characteristics. The warrior is a balanced character with a high amount of health and armor, is able to withstand powerful attacks and fights only in close combat. The archer is focused on long-range attacks, but some weapons allow you to fight close. The magician uses deadly spells, calls assistants into battle, but has little health. The world is open for exploration, and the global map helps you navigate in space.
