Heatwave – Single -user project with post -apocalyptic setting. The action of the campaign takes place in alternative reality on the planet Earth, and more specifically, in Alaska, which became unusable due to numerous environmental disasters provoked by human activities. The developers from the Perimeter Games indie collection combined in their brainchild of mechanics and genre features from step-by-step strategies, survival simulators, quests and role-playing adventures. All this mixture at the output gives a fascinating action that takes place within the framework of a single -user campaign.

The storyline starts in 2080, some time after changing the Earth’s climate, which led to the almost complete disappearance of the human race. The leaders of the United States of America decided to leave the territory of Alaska to their own devices for the sake of trying to save other distributions. After the evacuation of most of the Americans, Russian settlers arrive there to settle there and return the former part of Russia. During the game, a gamer get acquainted with members of different fractions that conflict among themselves.

The goal of the player is the destruction of all buildings of Russians in Alaska, and the survival of his own colony. For the latter, it is necessary to extract resources, food, weapons and other important things for the development of the base and the construction of buildings, which have various goals, for example, defense, warehouse, for living and so on. To destroy the Russian authorities, it is necessary to sabotage their objects, destroy the camps and not let local Americans wash the brains.
