Helldivers is a cooperative project, so it emphasizes teamwork. Here, an alien threat looms over the Earth, which is why an intergalactic war began. An elite squad, whose name corresponds to the name of the game, becomes the main striking force of humanity and must repel the invaders. Due to procedural generation, each subsequent location is different from the previous one, so it’s simply impossible to predict what will happen next or create an action plan.

Helldivers maintains high dynamics of battles. Opponents regularly replenish their ranks, and as gamers move towards the goal, the pressure becomes stronger. These can be huge armored beetles, small insects with high speed of movement, flying monsters and many others. To fight them, you will have to use the entire arsenal of weapons, which includes plasma rifles, flamethrowers, rocket launchers, explosives and even armored vehicles equipped with additional barrels. Initially, the squad is based on a ship that moves between planets, carrying out missions to destroy the enemy. Having chosen the next quest, the group lands on the location, after which opponents begin to advance towards them. Each time, the relief and appearance of the area will be different, which is why the conditions for combat will change. Available weapons can be customized by unlocking perks and thereby increasing the basic parameters. In total, the gameplay is designed for more than 100 hours, so there is no need to talk about the transience of the story campaign.
